Despite the 1199 Downhill event at the 2025 Whistler Crankworx Festival being canceled due to severe weather, I was fortunate to capture some unique moments during training runs. The heavy fog and moody conditions turned the mountain into an atmospheric backdrop, adding a dramatic edge to the shots. While the race itself didn’t go ahead, the images tell their own story—raw, gritty, and true to the spirit of downhill riding in the alpine.
